This annual, three-day festival is one of Western Canada's largest showcases of First Nations heritage and culture. Held the first weekend in August, visitors can experience displays of Secwepemc food, dance, music and storytelling.

Each year in December and January, the BC Wildlife Park in Kamloops comes alive - not from the many animals it houses but from 500,000 miniature lights used to create hundreds of life-size sculptures. During festival dates, the light exhibits can be viewed daily from 5 to 9pm except for Christmas Day.

The Winter Okanagan Wine Festival at Sun Peaks offers anyone who enjoys wine and winter recreation one of Canada’s most fun and memorable winter experiences.

We invite everyone to attend this five day festival of World cultures at Thompson Rivers University. TRU is truly a globally minded campus which embraces and encourages diversity. This weeklong celebration will focus on highlight TRU's ever changing international learning opportunities. With guest scholars from around the world, a snowboarding rail jam on campus, an International Showcase, Food fair and more, there is guaranteed to be something for every member of your family!

The annual Cowboy Festival has been happening since 1995 and takes place in March to celebrate one of the oldest residents in the west: the Cowboy. Join in for a western art and gear trade show, and a variety of entertainers including cowboy poets and cowboy/western musicians.
