Since its opening in 1994, Hampton Gallery has earned a reputation for excellence in the local community, and it has become a destination spot for art lovers travelling through the interior of British Columbia. Hampton Gallery represents approximately 40 regionally and nationally acclaimed Canadian artists. Mon to Sat 10 am - 5 pm.
In the Visual Arts Faculty, Studio and Art History courses explore practical aspects of art-making within the context of history of art and contemporary ideas about art and its role in society. They work closely with the Kamloops Art Gallery in sponsoring visiting artists program which includes lectures and workshops by artists from across Canada.
Located in the historic old courthouse, the Courthouse Gallery is an artist-run cooperative showcasing works by local artisans, weaving, paintings, pottery, glass, textile/fibre, jewellery. Featured artists are presented each month. Tues to Fri 10 am - 5 pm, Sat 10 am - 4 pm.
Experience changing exhibitions of regional, national, and international contemporary art within four distinct gallery spaces at one of Canada’s strongest regional public art museums. Even the building is a contemporary 'masterpiece' designed by award-winning architect Peter Cardew. Also home to The Gallery Store, a quality gift shop. Mon to Sat 10 am - 5 pm, Thur till 9 pm, Sun noon - 4 pm.
Tree Line Galleries is a boutique gallery located in the village of Sun Peaks Resort, north of Kamloops. The gallery features pottery, glass works, sculptures and paintings as well as gift cards and is a sister gallery to Lone Wolf Gallery, also at Sun Peaks Resort.
Gallery 322, located in downtown Kamloops, is a commercial gallery offering prints, framing and a portrait studio. In addition to showcasing heritage photos and prints, the gallery offers photo restoration and photography services.
The Kamloops Arts Council Main Gallery is located in The Old Courthouse Cultural Centre. The gallery hosts member artists who represent a variety of different mediums; come enjoy a new artist each month! Gallery hours are Tuesday to Friday 10am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm. Closed for lunch 12pm to 1pm daily.
