Kamloops Designated Driver Services

ZERO Tolerance DD'S in Kamloops, BC, which is against drinking and driving; yet ensures all clients a safe and non-judgemental ride home with the peace of mind of getting there. Being one of the only year round designated driving services in BC, they offer a very unique alternative to public transportation when alcohol has been by consumed by the client.

Operation Red Nose operates across the country during the winter holiday season to prevent impaired driving. Designated driver services are offered by thousands of volunteers. Callers are met by a team of three volunteers who will take them home in their own car. The operation runs as an awareness campgaign to encourage everyone to always plan for a safe way home throughout the year, through designated drivers, taxis, public transit, calling a friend, or staying overnight.
